Poole Stadium, aka Wimborne Road, is owned by Stadia UK, who also own stadiums at Reading and Swindon which also house greyhound racing. Pooles’ greyhound track, benefits from a modern grandstand, offering a range of bars, serving drinks and snacks, aswell as an comfortable gallery restaurant that offers good views of the finish line that the Grandstand overlooks.
You can choose to lay bets with the traditional bookmakers in the outside area, or use the tracks ‘tote’ bookmakers, and for those of you making use of the restaurant, ‘tote’ waitresses, who take your bets at your table before the next race.
Opening Times, Race days and Contact Details
Race days at Poole greyhound track are Tuesday, Friday and Saturday evenings.
The gates and bars open at 6.30pm with the first race of the evening commencing at 7.30pm.
Admission prices are very reasonable at just £5.00, including a racecard of the evenings races.
